Kirk Cousins finally did it. He won his first career playoff game when the Vikings defeated the Saints on the road by a score of 26-20 in OT on Sunday. In the OT he hit Adam Thielen with a beautiful 43-yard pass down to the two and then hit Kyle Rudolph with a TD pass to win it. The Saints never saw the ball in the extra session. It wouldn't be a New Orleans' playoff game if it wasn't wrought with controversy as the Vikings may have gotten away with offensive pass interference on that final play. Still, it was the 3rd year that the saints were knocked out of the playoffs on the final play of the game. Two of those times were against the Vikings. The Minnesota defense played very well in the contest and their offense was at full strength. It showed with Dalvin Cook and Thielen both making big plays throughout the game. Can the Vikings follow up their huge road win with another? We shall see.
Prediction: Minnesota Vikings will be the winner.
